Hannah Price is a photographic artist primarily interested in American minorities. As a mixed race minority herself, Price continues to seek out subjects for which her and her family are often stereotypically linked. Price is a graduate of the Yale School of Art, where she received an MFA in Photography in 2014. Price is known internationally for her project City of Brotherly Love, in which she photographed the men on the streets of Philadelphia who verbally and sexually harassed her. She continues to investigate and create photographs of the black male, and other topics of perception in her work. Over the past four years, Price has exhibited work in several artist group shows on the East and West coasts. Her work is currently included in the permanent collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Price was raised in Fort Collins, CO and currently resides in Philadelphia where she continues to primarily make photographic art and short films.
