Founded in 2011, Spaces Corners is an artist-run bookstore and project space based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The bookstore stocks a rotating selection of new photography books from some of the world’s leading independent and small press publishing houses. In 2013, Spaces Corners launched it’s own imprint to further collaborate with artists, institutions and collections.

With the pace of self-published and small press, photography books, it can be difficult to sift through all of the titles. Silver Eye has made it easier for you by curating a selection of presses, booksellers, and artists for a two-day immersion into photographic printed matter. Silver Eye will also offer up a selection of books from our collection, as well as signed and limited edition prints from Silver Eye Editions.

At 3pm, on Saturday, November 4, join artist and publisher Melissa Catanese, founder of Spaces Corners, for a conversation with David Oresick on the current ecology of and market for photo books. Register below.
