Connections @ Silver Eye: Reviews creates opportunities for Western Pennsylvania based artists to meet and show work to curators, gallerists, publishers, editors and collectors from outside the region. Silver Eye invites several interesting and influential people in the field of photography to meet with artists on a one-to-one basis and review and discuss their work.

Connections @ Silver Eye: Reviews is the perfect way to seek practical advice for a completed body of work, or to have a fresh pair of eyes for feedback on work in progress.

The best way to present your work is loose prints inside a clamshell portfolio box or a book dummy. Time is valuable while being reviewed and you want to be sure you can easily access each print and have the ability to edit as your review is being conducted. While viewing work on a computer or iPad is accepted, it is not encouraged. A typical portfolio is comprised of edited images in a project or series of 15-30 prints. Take into consideration what the final print size would be for exhibiting and if it is easy to carry and handle. You will be given a standard 6-foot table to present your work to the reviewer and most people show prints between 11×14 and 16×20 inches.
