Exhibition Opportunities

Members of Silver Eye at designated levels are eligible for exhibition opportunities in the New Works Galleries and the Fellowship Competition once a year in early October. We encourage photographers to become members and apply with the Exhibition Opportunities Application Form which will be available in the summer of 2008. Interested applicants may choose to submit to all of the exhibition opportunities or to those opportunities that are of most interest to them.

Membership Levels for Exhibiting

Fellowship Competition: Opportunity available to Student Members ($35 level) and Gallery Members ($70 level) or above.

New Works Gallery: Opportunity is only available to Gallery Members ($70 level) or above. There is a $100 installation fee if selected.

New Works Gallery Online: Opportunity is only available to Gallery Members ($70 level) or above. There is a $100 site management fee if selected.

Fellowship Competition

Silver Eye Center for Photography invites photographers to submit entries to our juried Fellowship Competition and the New Works Galleries in October 2008. Applications will be available online in the summer of 2008. One photographer will be selected to receive a $5,000 Fellowship and have a one-person exhibition in the Main Gallery of Silver Eye. Ten Honorable Mention photographers will be recognized with the distinction of Honorable Mention. They will each receive $100 and will exhibit one photograph each. You must be a current member of Silver Eye at the Gallery Level to enter. Also selected from these entries are the New Works Gallery and New Works Gallery Online exhibitors.
